Despite its relatively small size Ajman offers the tourists a great deal of the activities: to walk along the old waterfront area and Beach Rock Road, to see an important site - the traditional mosque-styled Etisalat Tower, to learn the history of the city in the 18th century fort, which has been turned into the local museum. Rich heritage and culture of Sharjah without any doubts attract the tourists. It is the area of museums and historical sites. The top Sharjah attractions are the Islamic Museum and the Sharjah Museum. Ancient Arabic manuscripts and beautiful pottery are on display. The Arabian Wildlife Center, the Sharjah Archaeology Museum, and the Central Market should not be also left without attention.
